Development -
Over the last 11 years I have been able to develop my strengths and skills to enable me to design and develop many innovative and interactive websites to a high standard mainly using Macromedia Dreamweaver 8/Flash 8 and Adobe Photoshop CS. I also have the strengths and skills to develop many multimedia CD packages using Macromedia Authorware.

Developed a large number of interactive multimedia packages both for CD-ROMs and web based delivery for education organisation and corporation.

In my current employment I developed many webpages and online forms comprises Dreamweaver 8, Visual Studio Web Developer, SQL, SQLServer, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP, ASP.NET and Flash/Authorware Web Player. I also use Macromedia Authorware 5.2/Flash MX regularly to enable me to develop various multimedia courseware packages for the New College Nottingham; to produce graphics I regularly use Adobe Photoshop CS and Adobe Illustrator; to produce animation I use 3D Max Studio.

The majority of my work is carried out on a Silicon Graphics (SGi) for WinNT.

I also sometimes assist to the Internet department to design web pages comprises HTML version, JavaScript, Shockwave for Authorware and Flash.

The majority of my work is carried out on a PC, however for in-depth graphics, an Apple Macintosh may be used.

The reason I did not complete my degree was that during my work placement in the 3rd year, I was offered employment within the multimedia team. I decided to accept this to enable me to focus on this exciting area and develop a more practical knowledge base.

I am a keen and regular football player, playing Five-A-Side two times a week, and I am also a great supporter of Leeds United.
In addition to the above, I love watching Formula One most weekends I admire Michael Schumacher (now Lewis Hamilton!!).

I am an avid reader of Photoshop Art,Computer Art and ‘the net’ magazine which I receive fortnightly from which I receive various CD’s. These help me in developing my knowledge and skills in relation to web, multimedia and graphics.

My home computer PC (Mesh) enables me to relax at home on my own machine on which I have created some of my own website (www.spikydesign.com) . It is also during this time that I enjoy surfing the net.
